Welcome to my website! My name is Mike and I want to thank you for stopping by!   I have created this website for my two Jack Russell Terriers, their names are Spot and Bags.

- Spot got his name because he has lots of black spots
- Bags got his name because when he was a puppy he had bags under his eyes and someone said ‘look he has bags under his eyes’.

These dogs have lots of energy, and they are very loyal and affectionate.

They love watching television with their owners while chewing American Rawhide chews

Are Looking for a new Puppy and unsure which type of dog to get ? If you answered Yes, then please read on for some valuable advise!

Owning a dog can be the start of many years of joy and happiness as the extraordinary connection amongst human beings and canines surpasses even the greatest of expectations.

Best Way to Choose YOUR Puppy Dog!

If you’re considering getting a new dog, there are a couple of things to keep in mind before you make that choice. Presently, there are millions of dogs that are put to sleep in animal shelters every year, attributed in part to making the wrong selection on the kind of dog to purchase. Before you dash out to buy that brand new puppy, there are a number of factors to take into account.

1. How much time can you commit to your brand-new puppy?
There are certain breeds, such as border collies, that need a great deal of attention and do not do well in a condition where they will be kept alone for several hours at a time. Be sensible with your expectations and pick a breed of dog that is noted for their patience and flexibility to spend a few hours separated from you.

2. Size makes a difference.
Even though your new puppy may be a small bundle of pleasure right now, in six months you may end up dealing with a ogre. If you do not have a lot of space, or if you reside in an apartment, a big breed may not be the most effective choice. In addition to space limitations, it is also a good idea to keep in mind that large dogs do eat quite a bit more than the typical teacup poodle and if you happen to be on a limited budget, a smaller sized dog will be much more cost effective.

3. Research breed characteristics.
Getting a puppy should not be based upon on which dog is the cutest, or which breed you always believed looked attractive. Take the time to to discover these attributes so that you can make an educated decision. A few breeds shed much more hair compared to others, while some breeds have known behavioral concerns. For example, Great Pyrenees dogs are quite stunning and sought after, but they are selectively bred for livestock guarding and not apartment dwelling.

4. Investigate breed health issues.
This is becoming a large problem due to incorrect breeding. Each breed might have congenital health issues, but some may be more serious than others. For instance, German Shepherds are known to have troubles with hip dysplasia, while some smaller dog breeds may have conditions with their vision.

5. Choose the best breeder. Numerous future health and behavioral issues can be prevented simply by picking the right breeder. As soon as you have determined on the breed of dog that you might want, contact that breed’s registry for an approved list of breeders. This is going to save you time, heart ache and dollars spent.

6. Think about a shelter pet.
Even though shelter pets are not for everybody, they may be a very good alternative if you do not have small kids or if you do not mind getting an mature dog. You can help save a life by adopting a shelter pet and still end up with a terrific and faithful friend.

Choosing a puppy is an emotional decision, but it will pay off to have these tips in mind before you try to make your final decision. Once you’re provided with the correct know-how, you are going to be in a position to pick and choose that perfect puppy that the entire family is going to enjoy and love.

Once you’ve decided on your furry friend and I am sure it is the most adorable pet. You will want to have your pooch look and feel the best at all times.  The good news is that you don’t have to pay a fortune to achieve this. You also won’t have to visit any expensive dog groomers either.

Incidentally, most dog owners don’t realize that all it takes to make your neighbors green with envy when you take your pooch for a walk is regular grooming.

The amount of time that you can devote to Puppy House Training is also important, as puppies can become spoiled or develop bad habits if not taken into consideration early on.  Nowadays there are products available to make caring for your young puppy that much easier.  You may want to use Wee-Wee Diaper Garments which are great for puppies not yet housebroken.  Puppy Teething Sticks and/or Nylabone Bones will help save your furniture. How about a Pet FLYS Puppy Love Carrier to transport your new friend around in?
