Pets are common for a very good reason. There is something comforting about a presence in the home that loves you no matter what you do, and is always there when you are feeling a bit down or lonely. Because dogs are smart, loyal, and eager to please, dog behavior modification when you buy a dog is much easier than with most pets, and anyone can learn to do it. Nonetheless, training your dog still requires a lot of patience, dedication, and hard work.

Dogs make wonderful pets, but they all must have training to quell their latent bad dog behavior tendencies. It is best to start this training at an early age or the minute you actually buy a dog, because these bad habits just become harder to break, down the road. One great way to help with bad behavior in dogs is to find training books on the subject. You should know that these are great, but you do have to have the time and the energy to put into the training.

Now, children have a good deal more intelligence than dogs do. Through experience and parental guidance, they gain better judgment, which is a primary goal of parenthood. Kids learn to communicate with words and the use of reason and logic. Our dog friends do not have these advantages. Understanding dog behavior requires that you understand Rover and Jingle’s limitations. When you buy a dog it will remain loyal to you, love you and misbehave whenever an enticing occasion arises.

Think about your relationship with your dog. Does he or she reflect your personality? Does your dog friend behave like Tigger or Eeyore? It is really all up to you when you buy a dog. You are the leader in understanding dog behavior. Put a smile on your face when he steals a cube of butter. Ten years from now, your neighbors may notice that you and Rover, or Jingles, resemble one another, in happiness.

We got a German Shepherd a day or so ago and took it home with us after filling out some forms. He was actually a shepherd puppy, and was very playful. He was going through a teething phase, so it was a little bit of a hassle.

I hadn’t thought about my pet German Shepherd Dog for years when a few days back, I walked into my daughter’s room and saw that she had downloaded a German Shepherd wallpaper from: www.total-german-shepherd.com/GSD-wallpapers.html . When I asked her why she did it she told me that she had always wanted to have a puppy of her own.

It took a lot of training before we were able to rein him in. We found a lot of great German Shepherd puppy tips on a great website at: www.total-german-shepherd.com In a couple of weeks, however, our German Shepherd was actually starting to learn a few basics stunts and tricks.

Pretty soon, he would show off by being able to follow a whole litany of commands from us. It was heartwarming to watch my daughter’s joy as she watched her pet German Shepherd puppy grow up. Reminds me of my old GSD.
